Looking Back At Our Favorite Etta + Billie Soaps

This week, we are bringing back some of our absolute favorite soaps from early and current Etta + Billie times. This soap extravaganza is fueled by some good old social media crowd sourcing and voting. We are asking our friends and followers to vote for not just one, but TWO of next month's soap creations. Their soap options are: Cinnamon Oatmeal or Almond Candied Ginger, and Portuguese Coast or Double Mint. I figure this was a perfect opportunity to run through what makes these soaps so special - while also giving honorable mention to an early classic: Anise Peppermint Soap. 

Cinnamon Oatmeal Soap

A warm n' cozy favorite might be re-made! My Cinnamon Oatmeal Soap is an OG Etta + Billie creation that still warms my soul to this day. Made with fresh oats and cozy cinnamon, this soap literally feels like a warm hug. Nourishing oats, cocoa butter, and shea butter combine to leave your skin moisturized. While rich notes of cinnamon will leave you feeling toasty warm. 

Almond Candied Ginger Soap

Some of you might even remember this creation - it's perfectly sweet from the almonds with a balanced refreshing note from the ginger. I'd dare say, it's a timeless scent. Sweet almond oil blend perfectly with spicy ginger to create an a sweet comforting scent blend. This soap is perfect for anytime of the year - winter, spring, summer, or fall. The Almond Candied ginger soap is amazing for gifting or for a personal treat in your daily shower! 

Portuguese Coast Soap

The Portuguese Coast Soap is made with fresh lavender, rosemary, pine, and sweet orange - the soap screams refreshing. Inspired by my travels through Portugal and the incredible aromas I witnessed while abroad. I may or may not be secretly routing for a relaunch of this soap creation. The Portuguese Soap is made with fresh ocean air in mind, and is designed to awaken the senses with invigorating rosemary and pine, while also keeping balance and calm with lavender essential oil. 

Double Mint Soap

Oh how I love this creation. The combination of peppermint and spearmint come together so perfectly. And although it makes an amazing lip balm, this delicious double mint soap does have a special place in my heart - it was a very early customer favorite also! Aside from its belly-soothing digestive benefits, mint is an extremely soothing and has cooling abilities that freshen the skin. It also has properties that facilitate oil secretion, making it an effective component against acne! 

Honorable Mention: Anise Peppermint Soap

Although this soap is not up for voting in this week of throwbacks - I did want to give it a highlight when we were talking about reboots. This soap had such a striking appearance with black and white swirls. Refreshing peppermint blends with slightly sweet anise, creating a unique unisex scent. Activated charcoal detoxifies and deodorizes. This makes a great kitchen soap!
